Utilizing Faith, the Anointing and The Glory of God

I was reminded of our recent study about Light, and that Light being Jesus. Jesus being the Light, we understand that from Him (Jesus) reflects the glory of God the Father.

2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

Hebrews 1:3 tells us; And He (Jesus) is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

Moses requested to see God's Glory. You will understand that Moses only knew of God the Father, and his first experience was at the burning bush where God spoke to him giving Moses directions how to set the Children of Israel from from their bondage.

A few days later - - after Moses led the multitude out of Egypt, God appeared on the mountain with visual Light and Sound effects of His Glory; such as fire, lightening, thunder and a loud voice. God instructed Moses to NOT allow the people to touch the mountain lest they die. Moses was the only one allowed to climb the mountain where God gave him the law and the commandments.

All the while upon the mountain, apparently all Moses was privileged to, was the voice of God and The Lord's thick presence but not God as a visible person. This Holy presence enveloped Moses so that he also reflected the glory merely by being in that atmosphere with God. The people could not look at Moses because his face shone and they could not bare to view him, so it was necessary for Moses to wear a veil on his face.

Now you would think that was enough but no Moses wanted more - - and he asked in - -

Exodus 33: 18-20 Lord, “I pray You, show me Your glory!” And God said, “I Myself will make all My goodness pass before you, and will proclaim the name of the Lord before you; and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show compassion on whom I will show compassion.” But He said, “You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live!”

In the Old Testament, there were many recorded visitations by angels, and usually fear that they might die having seen into the spirit world. Gideon was one of these persons;

Judges 6:22-23 When Gideon saw that he was the angel of the Lord, he said, “Alas, O Lord God! For now I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face.” The Lord said to him, “Peace to you, do not fear; you shall not die.”

We recently considered the three realms of The Spirit: Faith, the Anointing, and the Glory.

Faith also having three dimensions; little faith, great faith, and perfect faith. Our faith in Jesus brings us saving faith, and faith can grow and become enlarged, by usage and practice. Faith sees the Answer; Faith sees the Miracle, and not the Mess. Perfect Faith is utilizing the very Faith of God. In Him we live and move and have our being.

The Anointing also has three dimensions; The anointing of Priests, The anointing of Prophets and the anointing of Kings. The Holy Spirit will set us apart to fulfill the God given call that each of us personally have on our lives.

We all are different and each of us will have their special place in the body of Christ. Your position is not the same as mine or your neighbor, but understand that the anointing will assist you to complete your specific task that God assigns you to do.

We are reminded that the Anointing has three distinct expressions: To pour out, - - to smear over, - - and to rub in.  God desires to POUR OUT His Holy Spirit on believers and anoint them to go forward in His Name.

The smear over is God applying the anointing oil upon us, for our protection and reminds us - - not to fear and not to be afraid.  This smearing often has fragrance and a sweet aroma will be around those moving under this smearing anointing.

The first two expressions have to do with the the anointing upon us, but the third deals with the anointing within us. This third is the Soaking, or Marinating of our Soul as we fully surrender to God's will. This is a character building time where God is requiring integrity and moral righteous conduct from his anointed ones.

Many people want to skip this process, but you can't afford to do so.  It is important to allow the anointing to soak every part of your inner being.

We were reminded that we can give the anointing away, by sending out prayer clothes that you have anointed and prayed over.

Some things in the Spirit cannot be grasped by faith alone. There are also some things in the Spirit that cannot be released through an anointing. That is why we must learn how to bring forth the glory. Faith says, God is present, the anointing says God rewards, but the glory says “I AM.”

By faith we receive Salvation; We enter into the anointing by the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and we learn to enter into the Glory of God's fullness by meeting with him in your secret place.

What is the glory? God is the glory, and the glory is God. The glory is God's fullness, it is his manifested presence, His character, His nature, His ability, His provision, and the weight and splendor of His majesty. It is the essence of His beauty. God is present – He is here, He desires to manifest himself and bring to you, the miracle that you are believing for.

Isaiah said in chapter 6 “In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphim, each with six wings; With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. And they were calling to one another; 'Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.' At the sound of their voices the doorposts and the thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.”

That was the glory cloud. When the glory cloud appears, discord, and disunity, problems and difficulties have to go.

The third realm of the spirit is the Glory: Just as you invited Jesus to come into your heart and life, and rightfully you invited the Holy Spirit to baptize you with fire and anoint you for service, in the same manner we must invite the Glory of God to reveal to us His glory.  Age is no factor, Past performance is not a factor.  God is seeking for a willing person ready to do His will.

God is calling us to come up higher where the sea is as crystal, and the heavenly sounds crash like thunder.

Let us sing together “Worthy, Worthy, Worthy is the Lamb. Blessing, and honor and glory and power unto Him. Amen
