Jesus became the first fruits of the dead when he was resurrected from the dead. Jesus was the first one to receive His new resurrected body.   Who is Jesus? Chapter 35 Jesus Raises Lazarus from the Dead The happening for today is from John's gospel chapter 11. Often when Jesus came through the town of Bethany, he would stop over at the home of Mary, Martha and Lazarus, to rest and have a meal. They became good friends. but one day while Jesus was in another city, he received a message from Lazarus's sisters, Martha and Mary which said, “Lord, your friend whom you love is sick.”  But when Jesus heard it he said to his disciples, “This illness does not lead to death. It is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it."   Who is Jesus? Part 33 Who is my Neighbor? The happenings in today's message are taken from the Gospel of Luke chapter 10. Jesus had appointed 72 of His followers to go two by two and preach about believing on Jesus, the prophesied Messiah. They were also instructed to heal the sick and cast out demons using the Name of Jesus.
