Bible Foundations – Introduction Continued "The Bible is God's Word"

                          Bible Foundations – Introduction Continued  "The Bible is God's Word"

Let the Word of God have “RIGHT OF WAY” in your life. This is allowing Christ Jesus the right-of-way. The Word dominating you is the Lordship of Christ IN you.

We are BUILT UP with the Word;

Acts 20:32 And now I commit you to God and to the word of His grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all who are sanctified. “Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

Also - - - Our spirits are built up by praying in the Holy Ghost - - Jude 1:20

The WORD and the SPIRIT
are both necessary for our spiritual growth - - -

Ephesians 2:20-22 But you are built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Holy Spirit.

The Word must be mixed with Faith - - -

Hebrews 4:2 (b) For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the Word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.

Romans 10:17 "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."  - - and by hearing and hearing the Word of God.)

Are you hearing - - yourself speak the Word (Rhema) of God?? Your voice speaking God's Word will create Faith in your spirit.

We are healed by the Word.

Psalms 107:20 He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death.

Isaiah 53:4
For he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and by his stripes we are healed.

Matthew 8:17 This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took on his body our infirmities and carried our diseases.”

Jeremiah 1:12 Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it.”

2 Corinthians 5:21  For God made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Mark 16:17-18
And these signs will follow those who believe, they will speak with new  tongues;  they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will
lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

We know the Father through the Word;

John 16:27-28 For the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth   from God.  I came forth from the Father and have come into the
world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.”

John 14:23
Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and   my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.

Matthew 6:31-33 Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.  But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

We feed on the Word;

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

Jeremiah 15:16
Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by your name, O Lord God of hosts.

Psalms 78:24-25 God commanded the clouds above and opened the doors of the heavens. He rained down manna for them to eat; He gave them grain from heaven.

Job 23:12 I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth More than my necessary food.

Let the Word of God, be on our lips

Romans 10:9-10 T
hat if you shalt confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

The Word becomes a living thing in the mouth of the believer. Use it. Do NOT DEFEND or ARGUE it. Your word becomes God's Word in your mouth. The WORD of God will do it's work. Say it, Sing it. Praise the Lord using Scripture. Make your declarations using Scripture.
