We are Not Crazy

The natural person does not understand the things of the supernatural, and to a person without Jesus, at times - - a christian seems foolish and even crazy.

The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 1:25,27; That the foolishness of God is wiser than the wisdom of man, but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise.

1 Corinthians 2:14 But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.

We are told in 1 Samuel 21 about David pretending to be crazy: King Saul was chasing David and trying to kill him, and as David fled from Saul and went to Achish king of Gath, But the servants of Achish said to the king, “Is this not David, the king of the land? Did they not sing about him in their dances, saying: ‘Saul has slain his thousands, and David his tens of thousands’?”

Now David heard those words and was very much afraid of Achish the king of Gath. So he changed his behavior before them and feigned madness as he scratched on the doors of the gate and let his saliva run down his beard.

Then Achish said to his servants, “Look, you can see that the man is insane! He is a crazy man. Why have you brought him to me? Am I in need of madmen, that you have brought this man to rave in my presence? Must this man come into my house?” Send him away.

Mark chapter 3 tells us that Jesus was accused of being crazy by his own brothers and sisters when he first began his ministry, because he was healing the sick and casting out devils. When His family heard about this, they went out to take custody of Him, saying, “He is out of His mind.” And the scribes who had come down from Jerusalem were saying, “He is possessed by Beelzebul,” and, “By the prince of the demons He drives out demons.”

The happening of Jesus and a possessed man and the casting out of the man a legion of demons, is found in Mathew, Mark and Luke. The demons in the crazy man begged Jesus to let them go into the herd of swine, and Jesus said; “Go.”

You may wonder why Jesus agreed with the demons. As I though about it, I believe Jesus was being kind to the people who lived there. The pigs ran down the cliff and were drowned and the demons no doubt went from the pigs to the pit, but if Jesus had merely cast them out, they would have needed to find other humans to inhabit and the citizens would have been at risk. The people who lost their pigs were not happy for the released man, because were only thinking of money and their investments.

That is the way it often is when the general public sees God working a miracle, they attribute it to a scam, to foolishness or something that will interfere with their lifestyle and their income.

Paul was accused of being crazy by King Agrippa. Paul countered and said, No I am not mad, and except for these chains, I wish that you were as I am, a saved man and full of the Holy Spirit.

We live in a time where we are witnesses to something that has changed life as know it in many ways. We know not if we will return to any amount of normal soon, but as believers we must stand firm especially when it comes to some things that are being planned for the citizens; namely mandated vaccinations and micro chip implanting in our right hands.

The Bible tells us According to Revelation 13:16,17 The mark of the beast is a marking on the right hand or on the forehead allowing people who receive this mark to either “buy or sell” “and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name which is 666.”

This marking may be sooner than later, and it will be a requirement - - perhaps by law; to get the mark and there will be serious consequences for those who refuse the mark.

Absolutely everyone will be required to get this mark. It doesn’t matter who you are whether you are rich or poor, old or young, free or imprisoned it will be a requirement to get it.  And it may be enforced by "force."

Those who refuse to take the microchip will be called crazy, foolish and possibly treated shamefully.  Keep this in mind as you watch the progress of political hype and propaganda from the media.

Be careful when they say now it is peace and safety but behind the scenes there is planning is for the destruction of many.

Each of us must realize that our redemption draws closer than any of us had thought possible a short time ago.

If I had told you a few months ago that we are approaching the Lord's return, you might have said- - “You are crazy.” 

But NO I am not crazy and you are not crazy, because you and I are standing on God's Word and are trusting in His care over us all.
